BROCKWAY – The Brockway Area School Board has appointed a new member following two recent resignations.
Amanda Spencer was unanimously selected to fill the remainder of Katie Morris’ term after Morris stepped down and moved into longtime board member Bob Grecco’s seat.
Spencer says that she wanted to join the board to support local students and their families.
“I am excited to be a part of something that my children go to this district, that helps shape the future,” said Spencer.
Spencer was sworn in at last week’s School Board meeting.
