District 9 Baseball and Softball:
The rainy weather in the Tri-County area Wednesday almost completely wrecked the District 9 baseball and softball schedules.

Meanwhile, in softball, the DuBois at Clearfield and Glendale at Curwensville games were postponed; and the Otto-Eldred at Elk County Catholic game was canceled.
Brockway and Punxsutawney played into the third inning before their game was suspended. The Lady Rovers had built a 6-1 lead over the Lady Chucks. However, it is unlikely that the game will be completed.
