BROCKWAY – Brockway Area School District staff are calling for a fair contract as negotiations continue with the district.
Members of the Brockway Area Education Support Professions union, which represents custodians, cafeteria workers, secretaries, and classroom aides, spoke during Tuesday night’s school board meeting ahead of another bargaining session today.
Union President Chris Pringle asked the board for a fair contract that would help attract and retain employees.
“We show up every day with one goal: to ensure our students learn, grow, and feel safe,” Pringle told the board.
The union also delivered a signed petition urging the district to settle the contract before it expires on June 30th.
