BROOKVILLE – A crash in Brookville last week didn’t just damage a vehicle, it left many without power, dealing with blown out electronics.
During a town hall meeting Tuesday night, multiple people spoke on how the accident and subsequent outage affected their homes.
Council President Phil Hynes told us that the council is concerned with how widespread the damage is and plans to contact Penelec along with looking at other measures to make sure this does not happen again.
“We’re going to assign it to our public safety committee to investigate guardrails, anything we can do locally because it certainly did disrupt our entire community.”
Hynes hopes to hold more town halls in the future, giving you a direct line of communication with community leaders.
