BROOKVILLE – A downtown Brookville business is temporarily closed following a fire in a second floor apartment Sunday morning.
Crews were called to Pink Flamingos Vintage at 265 Main Street around 6:41 a.m. for reports of an active structure fire. When first responders arrived, heavy smoke was coming from the second-floor apartment, prompting crews to shut down Main Street as they worked to contain the fire.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze and reopen the road by 9am.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Pink Flamingos Vintage says they will shift to online sales while the storefront remains closed due to damage.
