Penn State-DuBois Baseball and Softball:
The Penn State-DuBois baseball team has put up 20 wins this season with only one loss. Next on the Lions’ schedule is a home double-header against Penn State-Allegheny on Friday.
Next for the Penn State-DuBois softball team is a home double-header Friday against Kent State-Tuscarawas.
Pittsburgh Pirates:
The Pittsburgh Pirates shut out the Washington Nationals, 2-0, at PNC Park last night.

Altoona Curve:
The Pirates’ double-A affiliate, Altoona Curve, out-hit the Portland Sea Dogs last night, but the Curve lost again, 8-6. The Curve are now 0-and-11. Game three of the six-game series in Altoona is scheduled for a 6pm start tonight.
Pittsburgh Penguins:
The Pittsburgh Penguins are preparing for their first Stanley Cup Playoffs game and series since 2022.
