DUBOIS – This weekend you can catch the musical “The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals” at the Reitz Theater in DuBois.
As Director Kari Trapana tells us, this show puts a fun spin on the typical musical, adding some aspects of horror and comedy.
“It follows an average guy named Paul who, believe it or not, doesn’t like musicals,” explained Trapana. “But when a meteor hits their local theater, everyone seems to be singing and dancing like they were in a musical. As he’s trying to keep up with the cute barista he seems to have fallen for, he’s also trying to save the town of Hatchetfield and rid himself of these musical zombies.”
Showtimes begin this Friday the 17th, with performances continuing through the weekend and next weekend. Most shows start at 7 p.m., with a Sunday matinee available.
