BROOKVILLE – A Mayport Man has been arrested after allegedly leading police on a high speed chase that ended in a crash.
According to Brookville police just after midnight on March 24th they received reports that 22 year-old Dominick Angelo was allegedly drinking liquor before getting into his vehicle and driving erratically on State Route 28.
Police say when they attempted to pull him over, he fled at a high rate of speed. Police pursued the vehicle until it crashed into a shoulder and utility pole.
Angelo was taken to Penn Highlands DuBois following the crash then to the the Jefferson County Jail where he faces fleeing and eluding, DUI, and reckless driving charges.
