DUBOIS – A DuBois man was arrested after allegedly leading police in a car chase while under the influence of drugs.
On March 10th State Police attempted to pull over a vehicle on Reynoldsville Sykesville Road for alleged traffic violations. Police say the vehicle then attempted to flee at a high rate of speed.
Police were then able to successfully PIT the vehicle and take the driver, 22 year-old Robert Wertman into custody.
Police learned Wertman allegedly had drugs on him and was under the influence of drugs. They also learned he had active warrants.
He was then sent to the Jefferson County Jail.
