DUBOIS – A DuBois woman is facing several charges after allegedly stealing over $5,000 dollars from a Subway over a six month period.
According to police, an internal investigation at the DuBois Mall Subway uncovered missing funds totaling $5,341.53 dollars.
Investigators allege that 46 year-old Amie Scanish had used her position to undercharge customers and void transactions before abruptly quitting her job.
When questioned, Scanish allegedly admitted to the theft.
She is now charged with felony theft by deception.
