UNDATED – The 35th annual Pennsylvania Farm Show Butter Sculpture has been unveiled, highlighting both the state’s dairy industry and nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary.

This year’s sculpture, dubbed “A Toast to Our Nation’s 250th Anniversary:  Inspired by Founders. Grown by Farmers”, uses over a thousand pounds of butter to depict Benjamin Franklin and the founding fathers signing the declaration of independence.

The Pennsylvania Farm Show runs from January 10th through the 17th. After the show, the butter sculpture will be recycled and converted into reusable energy.
