CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Regional Police Commission has approved their 2026 budget seeing major cuts.
The three million dollar spending plan will have major staffing and payroll cuts and an end to animal control.
While the cuts were needed to fund the department, public safety is taking a major hit as the Clearfield Regional Police Commission prepares to dissolve.
