DUBOIS – The DuBois Area School Board has hired a new READY Program Director to help guide students towards successful futures.

The Regional Economic Acceleration through the Development of our Youth (READY) initiative, launched in 2016 introduces career readiness into student’s academics.

Superintendent Wendy Benton told us that this director will help strengthen economic growth in our region.

“The primary goal surrounding the READY Initiative is to build awareness of local career opportunities for our students,“ explained Superintendent Benton. “And to ensure that every student who graduates from our district has a career plan or a post secondary education program.”

The board unanimously approved to hire Bradly Lashinsky as the program director at an annual salary of $90,000 dollars.
