DUBOIS – The 2025 Touch a Truck event rolled into the DuBois Walmart parking lot Saturday, bigger and better for you to enjoy.
This year’s showcase featured returning favorites like fire trucks, police cars, and construction vehicles, alongside new features like a K-9 unit and a school bus.
Gathering donations of canned goods throughout the event were given to the Salvation Army to help feed those in need.
“It’s a huge blessing for us to get any donated food,“ explained Captain Andrew Spooner. “We run a food pantry four days a week. Monday through Thursday, 9am through 4pm, and we serve about 180 families a month.”
Since 2008, Touch a Truck has connected kids with real-world careers through hands-on exploration of unique vehicles.
With dozens of rigs and interactive stations, 2025 proved the event is still full-throttle fun for all ages.
