CLEARFIELD – The collective bargaining unit for the Clearfield Regional Police Department has voted “no confidence” in the department’s Police Chief, Vincent McGinnis.

In a fourteen to three vote, the group has officially stated they have no confidence in the chief’s leadership. They say that the chief’s conduct was designed to “intentionally undermine the morale and work environment of the department”  jeopardizing the safety of both officers and the community.

They hope that by voting no confidence, actions will be taken to mend the hostile work environment allegedly created by Chief McGinnis.
