Motorists Warned as School Year Begins

DUBOIS – Today many kids start to go back to school and you are asked to slow down and stay alert.

Children will be walking, biking, and boarding buses, DuBois Superintendent Wendy Benton would like to remind you to stay alert and obey all safety laws.

“We always just like to remind everyone to just exercise some additional caution,“ explained Superintendent Benton. ”So if everyone can just be extra vigilant and mindful of the little ones who are going to be walking to school or boarding a bus.”

So, as the school year gets underway you are urged to stay cautious as every second counts when a child’s life is on the line.
