DUBOIS – Two individuals are being recognized for their commitment to public safety in DuBois and Sandy Township.
The American Legion annually recognizes members of the Fire Department and Police Department for their commitment to public safety.
This year they have recognized Sandy Township Fire Chief Jason Runyon and DuBois/Sandy Township Police Chief Kris Kruzelak.
We hear from Barry Abbot, who serves both the municipality and American Legion, on how crucial these services are.
“It was great that we honor Jason and Kris,“ explained Abbot. “They work so hard for our public safety. They’re out all hours of the night, and it was very heartwarming.”
In the end, this honor is meant to recognize those who prioritize our public safety.
