BROOKVILLE – One Brookville woman has lost $17,000 dollars through a jury duty scam.
According to State Police, the 56 year-old victim was contacted by an unknown party claiming she had overdue fees for not attending jury duty.
She then paid $17,000 dollars in Bitcoin transactions to the unknown party.
The investigation is ongoing.
