SANDY TOWNSHIP – One abandoned house is a complete loss after a late night fire Saturday in Sandy Township.
At around 10:21pm crews responded to reports of a fire at 525 Guy Avenue, once on scene first responders discovered the home was engulfed in flames.
“An abandoned structure fire, front A, Alpha Bravo caught fire from what we can tell,” explained Sandy Township Fire Chief Jason Runyon. “Totally destroyed the entire structure, no injuries.“
After two hours crews were able to get the blaze under control.
Crews are still trying to discover the fire’s origins. This is an ongoing story and we will update you when more information becomes available.
