UNDATED – Over one million dollars will go to municipalities in the 75th District in impact fees from natural gas.
State Representative Mike Armanini says that these funds are for communities affected by natural gas drilling to help the municipalities fund much needed projects.
Below is a list of municipalities in Clearfield and Elk Counties that will receive funding.
Clearfield County:
- Bell Township – $4,327.
- Bloom Township – $844.
- Brady Township – $6,597.
- Curwensville Borough – $4,295.
- DuBois City – $11,824.
- Ferguson Township – $13,000.
- Grampian Borough – $329.
- Greenwood Township – $2,703.
- Huston Township – $15,690.
- Mahaffey Borough – $515.
- New Washington Borough – $223.
- Newburg Borough – $204.
- Penn Township – $4,557.
- Pike Township – $6,687.
- Sandy Township – $19,508.
- Troutville Borough – $410.
- Union Township – $3,305.
Elk County:
- Benezette Township – $7,734.
- Fox Township – $62,681.
- Highland Township – $29,071.
- Horton Township – $40,795.
- Jay Township – $42,712.
- Johnsonburg Borough – $20,914.
