Drug Bust Reveals Exotic Animals

CLEARFIELD – Two are behind bars after allegedly being caught with drugs and two living African wildcats.

On June 5th State Police’s SERT team executed a search warrant at a Riverview Road home as part of a drug investigation.

Police say they allegedly found three pounds of methamphetamines, 159 grams of fentanyl, nine grams of heroin, around $7,390 dollars in cash, and packaging materials. While searching officers found two African wildcats in the basement, authorities believe that they were unlawfully obtained.

Two arrests were made in connection to the raid, 27 year-old Jennifer Dixon and 33 year-old Nicholas Rumsey, both are facing multiple drug trafficking charges.
