DUBOIS – A special veterans memorial will be coming to DuBois for Community Days this year.
As Paul Sprague of the DuBois VFW has told us, the Veterans and Athletes United Fallen Heroes Memorial will be making a stop in DuBois for Community Days.
“It’s a traveling memorial, based out of Richmond Virginia,“ explained Sprague. “It is a handmade wooden flag that is 28 feet long and six feet high. It is beautiful.”
The flag will be escorted into DuBois by Police and Veterans Friday morning.
