DUBOIS – A DuBois man is facing assault charges after he allegedly got into an altercation.
According to police, on Monday police were dispatched to a Lord Street residence after getting reports of a man smashing items.
Once on scene police learned that 55 year-old Joseph Wilson allegedly entered the home and began swinging at the three occupants while also destroying the home.
When questioned, Wilson, who was showing signs of impairment, was incoherent and began to walk away from authorities ignoring their commands. He was then taken to the ground and handcuffed.
He is now facing felony aggravated assault charges.
