DUBOIS – DuBois is one of only 81 communities that the state has invested into their downtown programs.
With over 200 entries, the Main Street Matters Program arms communities with the funds necessary to revitalize their downtowns
We spoke with Shirley Dahrouge with Downtown DuBois on what this means for our community.
“We are getting an additional $50,000 dollars to go towards downtown business storefronts,“ explained Dahrouge. “Whether it’s signage, new windows, paint, whatever project you have that you would like to do to improve your storefront.”
Now, she is asking for your input on how to use the grant to transform our downtown. You can submit your thoughts by either emailing her at [email protected] or calling (814) 503-2481
