DUBOIS – A String of new trees will be planted in the City of DuBois this month

We spoke to DuBois Mayor Patrick Reasinger, who told us that around 50 trees will be planted in pots and around the city.

“Bare Root Program through the state, we’re going to get 20 free trees, and then we’re going to be buying 31 trees,“ explained Mayor Reasinger.

He also told us that he consulted experts from Penn State to find the ideal types of trees, in this case around six to ten foot tall thin trees, designed to be placed in the municipalities’ pots.

The Mayor also told us that he plans to use volunteer work to help plant these trees on Saturday April 12th.
