PUNXSUTAWNEY – A Punxsutawney man is facing multiple charges after allegedly attacking a woman while she was sleeping last week.
On March 20th police responded to an Orvetta Street residence after receiving reports of a woman screaming
After investigation, police learned that 27 year-old William Courson had allegedly entered the victim’s bedroom while she was sleeping and began to strangle her.
Officers noted that the victim had red and yellow marks on her neck.
He was then placed into custody and taken to the Jefferson County Jail where he faces felony aggravated assault and strangulation charges.
