UNDATED – Area gas prices are dropping.
According to Triple-A, Jefferson County currently sits at the lowest average price at $3.35 dollars a gallon, down seven cents from last week.
Clearfield County dropped two cents to $3.42 dollars a gallon.
Elk County sits at the highest average, going up one cent to an average price of $3.56 dollars a gallon.
Statewide averages dropped eight cents to an average of $3.28 dollars a gallon.
