Evicted Woman Allegedly Threatens Constable With Hammer

CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield woman is facing assault charges after she allegedly threatened a Constable with a hammer.

According to police, on Wednesday February 26th a Pa State Constable arrived at a Holmes Avenue residence to evict a female resident.

Police say she refused to leave and threatened the Constable with her dog. Once on scene officers noticed she had a hammer and continued to threaten police officers.

She was then taken into custody and transported for a mental health evaluation.
