Over $230,000 Dollars Granted To Area Fire/Ems Companies

UNDATED – 20 area fire departments have been awarded thousands of dollars in grant monies, totaling over $230,000 dollars.

According to State Representative Mike Armanini, this funding will support multiple projects like facility upgrades, equipment purchases, training, and debt reduction across the 75th district.

The grant was provided by the Pennsylvania Management Agency and Office of the State Fire Commissioner.

  •         Adrian Sandy Fire Co. – $12,663.
  •         AmServ – $15,000.
  •         Bennetts Valley Ambulance – $15,000.
  •         Brady Township Ambulance – $15,000.
  •         Brady Township Fire Rescue – $12,018.
  •         Crystal Fire Department – $15,000.
  •         Elkland Search and Rescue – $12,018.
  •         Fourth Ward Hose DuBois – $13,739.
  •         Fox Township Ambulance – $14,962.
  •         Fox Township Fire Department – $13,309.
  •         Friendship Hose Co. No. 2 DuBois – $12,663.
  •         Goodwill Hose No. 5 DuBois – $13,094.
  •         Grampian Penn Bloom Fire – $12,663.
  •         Horton Township Fire Department – $13,524.
  •         Jay Township Fire Department – $12,018.
  •         Johnsonburg Fire Department – $12,663.
  •         Ridgway Ambulance – $15,000.
  •         Ridgway Fire Department – $12,233.
  •         Wilcox Fire Department – $12,018.
  •         Wilcox Fire EMS – $15,000.
