Celebrating Hope in DuBois

DUBOIS – Every year The DuBois Area School District celebrates a week of hope, spreading the message that no one is alone.

The Hope Squad, a peer-to-peer prevention program, encourages students and teachers to remember that anyone could be facing mental health challenges providing students with resources and activities each morning.

“This year they included rock painting, we’ve done a shred your stress activity where students can use a paper shredder to shred ideas that they’ve been kind of wrestling with in their heads. We’ve written positive messages and stuffed them in our cafeteria.”

Thursday February 13th will mark the 2025 Day of Hope. We will have more on this throughout the day.
