UNDATED – Gas Prices for the Tri-County area are going up with the New Year.
According to Triple-A, Elk County jumped the highest, going from $3.26 dollars a gallon up 13 cents to an average of $3.39 dollars a gallon.
Clearfield County went up three cents to $3.43 dollars
Jefferson County stayed around the same, only going up one cent to a total of $3.35 dollars a gallon, the lowest average price in the Tri-County.
The statewide average went up four cents to $3.25 dollars a gallon.
