DUBOIS – Local veterans came out in droves to the DuBois VFW Veterans Day, honoring those that have fallen.
Words of inspiration joined hand in hand with choir performances, spoke volumes on the significance of Veterans Day.
We spoke with Paul Sprague, Chaplain of VFW Post 813 in DuBois, who explained how Veterans Day brings a family of soldiers together.
“It’s a way for veterans to come together,“ explained Sprague. “People that have family members, or people that just appreciate veterans, and want to say thank you, to remember. So we don’t want to forget.”
In the end, Veterans Day is a moment to remember those that have fallen in service for our country.
