DUBOIS – The process of hiring an Interim Manager for the City of DuBois and Sandy Township had to take a step back as the previous hire withdrew his offer.
After the news broke last week that the current Manager Shawn Arbaugh was resigning, both the City and Township went to the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development to find an interim Manager, at which point Jason Dailey was recommended.
As current Manager Shawn Arbaugh says, the municipality is looking at three different firms to fill his position.
“The Firm recognized that they had one individual that was attached to the proposal, they recognized that wasn’t going to be enough to fill all of the requirements,“ explained Arbaugh. “So they are going to go back and rework their proposal to include additional personnel
Any new hire is expected to start in November and fully take over once Shawn leaves on December 2nd.
