BROOKVILLE – A Mexico resident is facing charges related to a hit and run accident in Brookville Monday.
Police received reports of a hit and run on Allegheny Boulevard around 7:30 am.
Brookville police then found the suspected vehicle traveling on I-80, at which point police pulled the automobile over.
The 33 year-old Mexico resident was found to be driving without a license. He was placed under arrest and now faces charges related to the hit and run, driving without a license/insurance, and multiple other traffic violations.
He was then taken to the Jefferson County Jail where he was able to post bail.
