KERSEY – The 50th Elk County Fair begins Tuesday in Kersey.
The fair opens with a ceremony to announce and crown this year’s Elk County Fair Queen on the George A. Swanson stage.
Also Tuesday, pony rides will be offered to benefit 4-H, Scott Allegretto will provide live music at 7pm, and the annual fireworks display shoots off at 9:30.
The Elk County Fair will be honored by the state’s Department of Agriculture on Wednesday for reaching the 50-year milestone.
