CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County website will soon be getting a whole new look.
At this week’s board meeting, Clearfield County commissioners approved a plan to redesign the government’s website through the company, CivicPlus. The IT Director for the county, Sabrina Schwartz, as well as Assistant IT Director Cameron Stom, said other county governments in Pennsylvania highly recommended the services of CivicPlus. Schwartz noted that the redesign will be a six-month process. It is expected that the new website will be more “user friendly” and more secure.
While the new website will not be ready in time for Primary Election Day on April 23rd, it’s expected to be active in time for the General Election on November 5th.
Commissioner Dave Glass said, “It’s going to be a process; it’s going to take time.”
