COOKSBURG – You can start the new year with a refreshing hike along the Cook Trail in Cook Forest State Park.
On New Year’s Day, Monday, the Friends of Cook Forest invite you to join them for a First Day Hike starting a 1pm.
The 90-minute interpretive walk will leave from the parking lot near the new River Pavilion in Cooksburg.
Leashed pets are welcome to join the hikers as well.
