Chemo Care Bag Project receives $2,500 grant

CLEARFIELD – A non-profit, charitable organization which serves those undergoing chemo therapy treatments in the local area has received a grant.

The Clearfield County Charitable Foundation awarded a $2,500 grant to the Chemo Care Bag Project to help purchase supplies for cancer patients.

In accepting the grant money, Kristen Zurat of the Chemo Care Bag Project said the support being received from community organizations like the Charitable Foundation is appreciated, and will be used to help cancer patients by providing them with items they need while undergoing treatment.
