HARRISBURG – A pair of Tri-County area economic development groups will soon receive more than $3 million to help supply a loan program designed to support small businesses.
The Clearfield County Economic Development Corporation, also known as Clearly Ahead Development, will get a total of $1,122,500; and the North Central Pennsylvania Regional Planning and Development Commission will be given funds just above $2 million.
The money is a portion of what Pennsylvania was given in the American Rescue Plan, and it is being awarded through the State Small Business Credit Initiative.
Small businesses in the Tri-County area will be able to apply for funding to help support job creation opportunities by October 17th.
