DuBois, PA – Motorists can expect road closures and heavy traffic this weekend in DuBois due to the annual Community Days celebration and parade.
The following road closures were announced for Saturday, June 11th:
-South Main Street from Spring Avenue to West Long Avenue from 2 PM until the end of the parade.
-West Long Avenue from State Street to Brady Street from 4 PM until the end of the parade.
-South Brady Street from West Long Avenue to Park Avenue from 4 PM until the end of the parade.
-Liberty Boulevard from Park Avenue to Parkway Drive from 4 PM until 11 PM.
There will be Signed Detour Routes to help motorists get around DuBois but expect heavy traffic on Saturday during these times. All travelers are being asked by DuBois Chief of Police Blaine D. Clark to, “Please be patient and respectful to all others on the road and workers trying to assist you with your travels.”
