Attempted theft of battery from mining equipment

Woodward Township, PA – Someone attempted to steal a battery from mining equipment in Clearfield County but was ultimately unsuccessful.

The mining equipment had been on Pacific Avenue in Woodward Township, near Brisbin in the eastern part of Clearfield County.

The battery is worth about $400. Although it was not stolen, it’s unclear from the police report whether it was damaged.

It was reported on March 15 by a 41-year-old man from Warriors Mark, PA.
