Indiana, PA – The online auction of the Indiana Mall in nearby Indiana County is now complete, but there is no word yet on who will take over ownership of the mall.
The Indiana Mall stores include JC Penney, Kohl’s, Harbor Freight and Movie Scoop Cinemas plus 35 specialty shops.
Before the auction, the mall was owned first by Zamias Services and then ownership was transferred to LNR Partners, with operations still being run by Zamias.
It’s unclear what will happen to the mall and will depend on who won the bid.
The Indiana Mall currently remains open.
The starting bid for the 44-acre plaza was $850,000, but it likely will be sold for much higher than that.
Ten-X, a commercial property real estate platform, does not give any additional details on the property yet.
