Sandy Township, PA – After a standoff with police yesterday near DuBois, a man is reportedly dead, though there is no official report yet.
A SWAT team was called to a home in the Wilson Avenue area of Sandy Township yesterday afternoon, and a coroner arrived at the scene later.
The roads near the home were closed off for multiple hours, and nearby residents were advised to stay inside.
No live shots were fired.
The death is believed to be a suicide.
His identity is being withheld until after the man’s family has been notified.
