DUBOIS – More air travelers are using the services of the DuBois Regional Airport.
Record passenger numbers were announced at the monthly DuBois Regional Airport Authority board meeting.
Passenger counts for May of 2022 topped 1,300, and that beat the previous monthly record of 1,200 set in July of 2019.
Stan Little, the chairman and chief executive officer of Southern Airways, said the DuBois Airport saw its best March, April and May ever for total passengers.
Southern Airways is operator of the Essential Air Service routes from DuBois to Pittsburgh and Washington-Dulles International airports.
