DUBOIS – The Greater DuBois Chamber of Commerce is calling out to all local business owners, looking to give you the tools to grow your economic development.
On October 2nd, the chamber will be welcoming all who are eager to explore benefits, speak to local leaders, and learn what opportunities are out there.
Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce, Jodi August, spoke to us about how the Chamber offers a slew of resources to local businesses, even offering insight into her husband’s own local tree cutting operation.
“He gets to stay connected with us, he knows when there are grants available, he knows that if he needs to borrow resources to buy equipment he knows where to find those, he has a listing on our website page,” explained August. “And with him being one of the only tree companies, when people call for referrals, he gets the referral for that business opportunity. I think people don’t realize that our office is huge for business referrals.”
