UNDATED – The Pennsylvania State Police kept busy over the Labor Day weekend, with over 24,000 citations issued over a four day period.
In the commonwealth, State Police reported 580 crashes occurred, with six deaths, and 514 motorists were arrested for impaired driving.
Of the total crashes, 65 of them were caused by drunk driving, three of which were fatal.
Over seven thousand tickets were given out for speeding, almost 900 for seatbelt violations, and 121 for unsafe children.
These statistics were taken from August 30th to September 2nd, and do not include any citations issued by any other authorities.
