UNDATED – A Salamanca New York man is behind bars, after attempting to meet an underaged decoy for sex.
According to police, 55 year-old Salamanca resident Jack Sherlock was in contact with a person who he believed was a 12 year-old girl. He allegedly attempted to get inappropriate pictures from the underage girl and tried to find places to meet.
A Pennsylvania based predator group was behind the account and gave all information to Salamanca Police, who then contacted Homeland Security.
On December 4th Sherlock tried to meet the decoy but was confronted by police instead. He is now facing multiple child pornography charges.
