Brockport man scammed out of $1,700

Brockport – A Brockport man is reportedly the latest victim of a contest scam. State Police say the unnamed 69-year-old Elk County man was scammed out of $1,700 by someone claiming to be a representative for Publishers Clearing House. The investigation continues.

Brockport man loses $40,000 to wire transfer fraud
