New Years Holiday Enforcement Report; Over 250 DUIs

UNDATED – Pennsylvania State Police have released their enforcement report for the New Year’s holiday.

Between December 31st and January 2nd, State Police reported 425 crashes, with only one death among them and 68 injured.

Of those crashes, 31 were caused by impaired driving. They also report that 254 arrests were made for DUIs.

In addition, 2,727 tickets were given out for speeding, 383 for seatbelt violations, and 50 for unsecured children seating.
