Yvonne L. (Gamble) Yanek, 83, of Reynoldsville, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025, while a resident at Christ the King Manor in DuBois, PA. Yvonne was born on September 13, 1942, to the late Ralph Sr. and Francis (Engstrom) Gamble in DuBois, PA. Yvonne married William M. Yanek on December 1, 1962, in DuBois, PA, he survives her. She was a paralegal and also worked as an office manager at Jefferson and Clarion Head Start. She was a member of the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church. Yvonne was a loving mother and grandmother, who loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Yvonne is survived by four children: Amy (Will) Kelly, William M (Jacey) Yanek, J. D. (Julia) Yanek, Melissa (Evan) Desbien; four grandchildren: William Yanek, Jackson Yanek, Reagan Yanek, Savannah Yanek; and three siblings: Diana Case, Nancy Cryster, and Ralph Gamble Jr. In addition to her parents, Yvonne is preceded in death by her sister: Sandra Herzing. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 4pm to 8pm at the Snyder – d'Argy Funeral Home, 206 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, November 21, 2025, at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 607 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851, beginning at 10am and officiated by Father Nicholas Fratus. Interment will take place at Assumption Cemetery, Sykesville, Jefferson Co., PA. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Courtyard Project at Christ the King Manor, 1100 W Long Ave, DuBois, PA 15801.
